So we are back from our adventure at the ‘end of the world’ and we’ve landed right slap in the middle of party season. We’ve also had almost three months of absence to catch up on, so as you may imagine, it’s been busy, busy, busy. We’re working hard on our Heritage Lottery bid to develop work started in Echoes From the Edge, catching up on all things Creative Alliance, and planning where we go next. Our time in South Africa has affected us incredibly, and has made us reflect on where we are at, and where our work is going. We’ve often said that our approach is not ‘rocket science’, that we merely create the conditions for conversation and dialogue through our artwork. We’ve come to realise that maybe it is rocket science after all, and we need to value what we do and not to be quite so humble. Difficult for a Brummie, where humility is almost a disease (certainly a disability).

So, onwards and upwards – we are hosting a low-key and chilled out Christmas ‘do’ at the Edge this year, as we are already ‘partied out’.  On Sunday 20th December at 5pm we’ll be snuggling onto the sofas at the Edge to drink mulled wine and watch ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ on the biiiig screen (biggest ‘home cinema’ in town at 240″!).  Please feel free to join us – bring a few mince pies and some hankies to mop up the tears at the end of the film.  Hope to see you there.

Edit: Unfortunately, an email was sent out to some of our friends inviting them this Sunday, the 13th of December for our ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ screening – so please come then instead, thanks.
