We’re looking for two mentees to support the delivery of workshops for young people in Birmingham and Walsall. We’ve been developing this project for the past two years, exploring traditional and contemporary international music, ensemble repertoire and composition with diverse groups of young people in primary schools in Ladywood, Birmingham, finding new ways to develop international music in educational settings. This is an exciting time to join the programme as it expands further into the region and engages more young people. Mentees will receive on-going mentoring and training, develop their leadership skills and gain experience of creative planning and delivery of workshops in school and showcase settings. 2 fixed-term contracts available, from September/October 2017-August 2018, up to 80, 3-hour sessions at £45/session.
