Residuum

We’re currently working with Dreams of Tall Buildings on this project at the National Trust’s Back to Backs in Birmingham. DOTB are working on a sound installation which will be installed at the end of September, doing all kinds of clever things with sound, scanning the environment and turning it into noise, making binaural recordings (a great way to create realistic 3D soundtracks, we were introduced to the technique during Echoes), and all kinds of sonic shenanigans. We will keep you posted as the project continues to develop – the back to backs are worth a visit anyway, but experiencing the work of DOTB at the same time should give lots of extra value to the ticket price.
