WOC Session #1 – ‘If it’s not work, it’s research’ – making work in international contexts or What to do on your holidays
Friction have a strong portfolio of international working, we’ve just returned from a journey half-way across the world to multiple, very different places and are soon to begin a residency in Western Australia. People often ask us how we manage to do this, alongside our more home-grown practice. So, in the spirit of giving people what they want, we’re announcing the first of our WOC Sessions on international projects and processes. On Monday 15th July from 6pm until we all agree we’ve had enough, we’ll be talking about our international work and how it is organised and commissioned. At the Edge. Free entry, bring food to share.
WOC Sessions are an ad-hoc, responsive series of seminars and workshops aimed at the development of emerging, post-emerging and submerging artists delivered by our Lead Artists and their allies.
