We’ve got some totally awesome bands on offer for weekend of 19th to 21st July CRE@TE FREE Festival at the Edge – more to be announced soon, and there may be surprises on the day!
An eclectic, riff-driven 4 piece from Birmingham serving up a blend of prog math, jazz rock, psychodelia and obscurity via subversive earworm hooks and mind-bending rhythm. A strange experimental prog band that will fit right in at the Edge! Opening our Saturday programme. @notsoupband
British Actor, Singer and Presenter, Birmingham Artist, head of @brums_up_and_comers Kris’s natural talent and soul shines through. He’ll be performing some of his released material as well as sneaky peaks of some of his unreleased material. @imkristianwilson linktr.ee/k.mic8
Evie has been doing open mics all around Birmingham for over a year, playing in bands and now mostly going solo. She plays alt rock with a few Billie Eilish covers here and there. You’ll find more of her gigs and things on @ev1e_l.ahttps://linktr.ee/evie.la
Emerging from the drum & bass scene is KAP. Not content with merely riding the established waves of breakbeats and basslines the live performance breaks out with raw energy into something richer. KAP are well seasoned from local festivals and dancefloors and itching to be with us at The Edge. @kapmusicuklinktr.ee/kapmusicuk
Trevanee has been doing music for a while and started recording at ‘Beatsabar’ in Wolverhampton. He’s really into 2000s R&B and Spanish/ urban pop genres.
A talented local solo artist, with music released on TikTok and YouTube – see @officialTrevaneè. Inspired by artists like Beyonce, Aaliyah and Chloe Bailey, expect a real treat for the ears at the Edge! @officialtrevanee
