Evolving from the Edge. Calling live Performers for CREATE Festival!

CREATE Festival is on the hunt for incredible live acts to set the stage alight at The Edge. This will be the first festival to take place at the newly refurbished Edge venue, for our CREATE Festival 19th to 21st July 2025, and we’re keen to open up opportunities to young people.

The CREATE festival is led, curated and run by young people from the Edge, who have taken part in a range of projects with Friction Arts and our ‘Home in Highgate‘ partners over the last two years, and are itching to get back into our new building.

‘We want the neo-Edge to be Home for young people and artists, and it’s only right the first festival should be led by Young People’

The festival is part of what will be a truly exciting programme at the Edge as it reopens its doors, building on it’s reputation of high quality arts and music.

Do you have what it takes to captivate an audience with your original and high-energy performance? This is your chance to be part of an unforgettable festival experience.

We’re looking for bands, acts, performances that:

• Include people under 18 years old
• Perform original music/ original acts across any genre
• Deliver a dynamic and engaging live show
• Are eager to connect with a vibrant festival crowd

Also we’re interested in live performances/ other possibilities at our Festival throughout the weekend – please ring or email. There is no payment for performance (it’s a free festival!) There is free food and reasonable expenses will be paid.
